Growing its ability to provide customers with professional edging solutions, Coyote Landscape Products names former Plant Manager Dave Eaves as new Western Division Sales Manager.
Dave Eaves has joined the Sales Team of Coyote Landscape Products as Western Division Sales Manager. Previously, Dave was the Plant Manager for Coyote and has been with the company for over two years. Dave brings a wealth of product and industry knowledge to his new role, moving from operations into sales. Dave will be responsible for sales across the country.
Before working for Coyote, Dave was in the Metal Landscape Products industry for over 20 years. His lengthy experience in the industry means he knows his products. He has learned along with the industry as it has grown; as the technology of the equipment and processes evolved, so has Dave.
Metal landscape edging has been around for quite some time, however, the roll top pieces, heavier gauge metal, and accessories that have come into the market within the past ten years have helped improve industry growth. Dave appreciates the customer base that has grown through Coyote’s new direct-to-consumer website capabilities, however, the heart of Dave’s work lies in selling to businesses, and he will continue to foster these relationships in his new role.
Dave thinks Coyote’s PerfEdge products really make us stand out from the rest, providing an edging solution that allows for improved drainage capabilities. Additionally, our central location in Denver, Colorado makes it easy for Coyote to work with customers throughout the United States. One of Dave’s favorite things about working at Coyote is getting the chance to visit different companies and see how their operations run. He also appreciates seeing their processes and meeting the employees.
Dave has been involved in some motivating projects lately, including an edging project for a customer in Illinois. The job was entirely custom built and included edging with heights between 9” and 24”. There were also many custom shapes such as half circles, as well as hidden welded pockets and connectors. Dave was able to help quite a bit with this project due to his long history in custom fabrication work in the landscape industry. He also believes CAD drawings really help with custom projects.
In his free time, Dave is a team roping competitor and has won a few buckles while competing.
We’re glad to have Dave in this new position with the company. Be sure to reach out to him for any of your landscape edging needs!
