Can't Miss icon We would be remiss in not recommending the fantastic CHIHULY EXHIBIT AT DENVER BOTANIC GARDENS. The gardens themselves are a marvel, but add the artistry and spectacle of Dale Chihuly’s glass sculpture and you will truly have a memorable experience. Runs through November 30th.

We used to call them “micro brews”, but the term wasn’t very flattering. See a list of CRAFT BREWERIES — you’ll be hard-pressed to choose just one !

Ever hear, “Colorado has 300 days of sunshine annually”?  Well, that’s actually a myth. But we do get around 115 bonafide clear, sunny days, allowing Denver a place on the list of the US’s top sunniest cities. Last week Denver had the coldest air during the month of November it’s ever had in over 100 years, thanks to a Canadian front. Next week the sun is back out and temps will be normal again. Check the forecast and pack accordingly if you plan to be outside.

transport icon The 16th Street Mall has a great free shuttle that can take you to see plenty in the span of over a dozen city blocks (which can be a long way to walk, particularly when it gets chilly). Find out more about Denver’s Mall Ride.

RTD LightRail has a stop right in front of the Convention Center and can take you to several locations around metro Denver and surrounding suburbs. Denver.org has terrific info on all forms of transportation in Denver.
